The ISE is overall responsible for\r\nactivities within the Independent Submission stream, working with\r\ndraft editors and reviewers, and interacts with the RFC Production\r\nCenter and Publisher, and the RFC Series Editor (RSE).  The ISE is\r\nappointed by the IAB, and also interacts with the IETF Administrative\r\nOversight Committee (IAOC).
