The Unicode Consortium has deprecated that\r\nfacility and strongly recommends against its use. RFC 2482 has been\r\nmoved to Historic status to reduce the possibility that Internet\r\nimplementers would consider that system an appropriate mechanism for\r\nidentifying languages.
